Bounders Dog Photography – 10 Years, Thousands of Dogs, One Big Adventure!
We have some heart-warming news to share—our sister company, Bounders Dog Photography, is celebrating its 10th anniversary! As a husband-and-wife team, my husband Joe (the talented photographer behind Bounders) and I have been on an incredible journey, balancing our passion for dogs through both Woofbox and Bounders. We’d love to share our story with you.
The Birth of Bounders Dog Photography
Bounders began with one very special little dog—our Jack Russell, Scrooby. We got her in 2013, and she quickly became Joe’s best friend and guiding light. At the time, Joe was searching for direction, and Scrooby helped him find it. One day, he took her out for a walk and decided to try photographing her. In that moment, something clicked—literally and figuratively—and Bounders Dog Photography was born. With Joe’s 20 years of photography experience and our shared love for dogs, we knew we had found something special. Our mission has always been to capture the unique spirit and personality of each dog, providing their families with cherished portraits.
Balancing Two Passions
Running both Woofbox and Bounders has been a labour of love. Woofbox allows us to surprise your furry friends with delightful treats and toys, while Bounders enables us to capture those joyful moments in unique and stunning imagery. It hasn’t always been easy juggling both businesses, but every happy tail wag and smiling dog owner makes it all worthwhile. Through both companies, we’ve been lucky enough to connect with thousands of dog lovers, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Reflecting on a Decade of Dog Photography
Over the past ten years, Bounders has grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined. We’ve had the privilege of meeting well over 1000 wonderful dogs and their families, each with their own story. We’ve won awards, attended countless fun dog shows, exhibited at the National Pet Show at the Birmingham NEC, and worked with some incredible dog charities. We’ve even photographed celebrity pooches! However, no matter how much Bounders has grown, the heart of our work remains the same—celebrating the deep bond between dogs and their humans through beautiful photography.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement for the future.
